Our founding CEO, Nicholas Thurston, managed multiple Congressional races and served as a Candidate Services Manager helping local candidates up and down the ballot before starting Forward Motion Strategies LLC. After recognizing the need for early and affordable help for candidates, he decided to do something to support the democratic political infrastructure. Forward Motion Strategies was born to give candidates a fighting chance early in their race and help candidates who need a political professional to steer their campaign in the right direction.
